  1. The Ultimate Guide to the Rider Waite Tarot The Ultimate Guide to the Rider Waite Tarot is a wonderful guide to the classic Rider Waite tarot cards. I’ve accumulated many different types of tarot decks and oracle cards over the years, but this is the ultimate classic that any tarot card reader worth their crystals knows and uses at least occasionally. This is a true guidebook for the cards that can teach someone everything they would need to know about the tarot cards before using, and of course how to use them.I especially loved learning about the lore behind the cards, but I do love history and myth. The hints and tips provided were also quite helpful for people starting out using the Rider Waite tarot cards, and even though I’ve been using oracle cards for a long time, I learned quite a lot from reading this book, too. It is a fun read that also teaches those interested in tarot cards about the subject and how to use it in real practice. I highly recommend it.* Thank you to the publisher of The Ultimate Guide to the Rider Waite Tarot, Llewellyn, for providing me with a copy of this book for review. All opinions expressed are my own.

  2. This book is WONDERFUL, especially if you are trying to learn to interpret your Tarot deck *without* having to consult a book during the reading. The format is clear, clean-cut, and colorful. The book is well-written and (decently) well-organized. It not only gives you readings for each cards but actually TEACHES you how to interpret the symbolism of the Rider Waite deck (including colors, numerology, posture of the figures, etc). I feel like I am already on my way to learning my deck by heart; this is the best book I’ve tried so far for really helping you master the practice of Tarot.
