Useful for what it has, but beware: This is not the Waite edition (privately printed in 1894 and reprinted in paperback by Shambhala and, more recently, by Kessinger and, BEST CHOICE, Martino: The Hermetic and Alchemical Writings of Paracelsus–Two Volumes in One) but an extract of pieces therein. The Waite edition (translated by other hands, as he explains in the preface) is nearly 800 pages long, this less than 200. The same caveat applies to the Kindle edition.

This must be one of the most intriguing and cryptic books ever written, by the arrogant and masterful Paracelsus. He writes about the metal qualities of the 7 planets, and how to produce Sol, The Sun. But written in a highly esoteric manner, few people will understand the true meanings of this epic, classic book, but it it still highly recommended to all who have an interest in either: philosophy, metals, stones, chemistry, hermetic, medieval, freemasonry, rosy cross, esoteric, mysticism, alchemy and symbolism. Buy it!
