Chris asks…

What does it mean when 4 out of 5 cards in the 5 card spread (star spread) are cups?

I did a 5 card spread for myself. The star spread. And 4 out of the 5 came up cups. The layout was:

1. reversed justice
2. reversed 7 of cups
3. 3 of cups
4. page of cups
5. knight of cups

I am just starting in learning how to read the cards. I have an Idea as to what it may mean but I would like a little help from anyone willing to assist me. I still don’t fully understand the significance of the suits when they show up more than once and the relation of the cards to one another, as in figuring out the true meaning of the card in relation to the others, in the spread. Please, if you can, help me out. THANKS

TarotTrumps answers:

Cups represent emotions, creativity, and water. To have so many cups in one spread suggests either that the issue is related to creativity. That is, the answer to your problems may lie in your own creativity.

Or they may mean that you should look to your own feelings and emotions.  Be honest with yourself and others about your feelings. And be aware of and sensitive to the feelings of others.

Look to the emotional issues of the question.
